The video announces a book “Gods and Writing around the Mediterranean”, edited my Friedrich Kittler †, Joulia Strauss, Peter Weibel, Peter Berz and Gerhard Scharbert, Fink Publishing. The book assembles scietific contributions to the Symposion In Memoriam Friedrich Kittler which took place on October 19-20, 2012 at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe. At the same time, it is a documentation of Strauss’ „lectureperformance“ at the Symposion. It is entitled “To the loud dumb“ and was held in the deaf-mute language. It sets a wild, but precise relation between an Asamblea and Symposion, anarchy and pre-socratic thinking against the empire, activism of the Occupy and the one of Jesus…
